Who needs a take away when you can make a great fake away !!
Ingredients
500g -5% mince beef
1 red onion chopped
1 red pepper chopped
4 tbsp passata
1 tbsp Worchester sauce
2 beef stock cubes (crumbled)
½ tsp chilli powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsb cayenne pepper
½ tsp garlic granules
1tsb oregano
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp fajita spice
For the Nachos (Wait for it )
10 Lasagne sheets
Cayenne Pepper
Cheese Dip
4 Laughing cow Triangles
2 tbsp Milk
Method (Mexican Beef)
- Mix all spices together and leave aside
- Fry onion and pepper in a pan with some frylight
- Add mince and fry for a further 10 minutes
- Add in spices ,crumbled stock cubes and Worchester sauce
- Stir and simmer for 25 minutes adding water if needed
For the Nachos
- Boil up some water in a pot
- Add 2 sheets of lasagne at a time to boiling water for 2 minutes each (too many and they stick together)
- Cut into triangles and place on a baking tray
- Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown
- Melt cheese and milk in microwave for 1 minute at a time to create the dip
It really should be called a Mexican Feast !!
